I hope you enjoy
the font Wanderer which was inspired by the logo used in
classic television show The Wild Wild West season two.
Wanderer is available
as a stand alone font and also with the optional Fill fonts.
What are Fill fonts?
Fill fonts are
used to fill in the clear space of an open faced, outline or shadow font.
Although some fill fonts look as if they can be used as stand alone fonts
their true
intended use is for filling in the open center of a decorative type font,
for alignment
purposes their spacing
is typically wider then that of a regular font.
As you can clearly
see, in this example, the background shows through the letter S
and is not filled in with color automatically, this is where the fill fonts
come into use.
Note:
Fill fonts can only be used in applications that support working
in
layers, applications such as word processors do not have
the ability to layer fonts, the correct applications to use for font
layering are Graphic arts programs such as Adobe Photoshop
& illustrator, Paintshop Pro, Corel and Macromedia applications.
Decorative
type styles such as the Wanderer font are used to attract attention to the
reader. In the image below you can easily see how each layer comes together
to
make a letter that stands out better than plain black.
Fill
fonts make your job easier to quickly add color to each letter with out
the
need to manually paint each part.
